This policy explains how GetBins Bin Hire & Recycling handles information submitted through getbins.com.au and enquiries about our services. Contact us at infogetbins@gmail.com or 0435 384 824 with privacy questions.

Information we collect

When you request a booking, we collect your name, phone number, email, delivery address, suburb and postcode, bin and waste selections, preferred dates, placement and access notes, and waste declarations. We also record your booking reference, status, price and payment status. You may optionally tell us how you found us and whether the job is household, renovation or repeat trade work.

When present in the page address, we save campaign labels (source, medium and campaign) with your booking to help understand enquiries. Campaign labels and Google click identifiers are also carried between our public pages so an ad visit can reach the same booking form. The booking service stores a hashed network address to limit abusive submissions. Our hosting services may process technical request and security logs.

How we use your information

We use these details to answer your enquiry, check service area and availability, quote, arrange delivery and collection, send booking and payment emails, handle payments and refunds, maintain booking records, and understand where enquiries come from. Without the required contact and delivery information, we cannot process an online booking request. Please avoid including unrelated sensitive information in access notes.

Services involved

Booking records are held by the website's hosted database and are available through an office sign-in. Booking notifications are sent using Resend to the customer and our office email. Stripe processes card payments on its payment page; this website stores payment references and status, not your full card number or security code. Website hosting and database services are provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare.

If you choose WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or Google links, those services handle the information you provide under their own privacy policies. Our service providers may process information outside Australia. Contact us if you need more information about the services involved in your enquiry.

Recruitment enquiries

Our careers page provides email links to infogetbins@gmail.com. If you choose to apply or express interest, the details you send are received in our office email and used to review your experience and contact you about work with GetBins. The careers page does not upload or store applications in the website booking database. You can provide your name, contact details, relevant experience, licence class or qualifications, and availability. A résumé is optional. Please do not include identity documents, licence photos, licence numbers, tax file numbers, bank details or unrelated sensitive information in your initial enquiry.

Email our office if you have a question about your application information or want to request access, correction or deletion. Your email provider and our email service also process messages under their own policies.

Google Ads measurement and cookie choices

If you choose “Allow measurement”, the Google tag uses advertising cookies and click identifiers to measure saved booking requests. We send an anonymous request identifier to prevent duplicate counting; the event is a lead, not a confirmed sale. We do not send the booking form’s name, email, phone, address or notes in this event, and enhanced conversions and advertising personalisation are disabled in this integration. Google may process technical information such as your browser and network address. See how Google uses information from partner sites.

Choose “No thanks” to book without this Google measurement. You can change your choice using “Cookie choices” in the footer. Your preference is saved in this browser. Withdrawing permission stops future booking events from this integration; it does not erase data already received by Google. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

Storage and your choices

Booking and email records remain in our systems to support service, payment and administration. Access to the office dashboard requires an authorised sign-in. You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. We may need to verify your identity and retain information needed for outstanding services, disputes or applicable recordkeeping obligations. No automatic deletion period is currently configured for website bookings.

Questions or complaints

Email infogetbins@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy enquiry”, your booking reference if available, and what you would like us to investigate or correct. Please do not email card details. If a privacy concern remains unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about complaint options.

We may update this policy when website processes change. The current version will be available on this page.
