Separate household waste from repair waste
If clearing the property also involves repairs, list the renovation materials separately. Bricks, concrete, tiles, soil, rocks and asphalt cannot be included in a light waste load. Household and light options are available within the 2–30 m³ range, with no 10 m³ stock; heavy mixed options are 2–8 m³.
Set up a simple loading plan
Choose a proposed position with a practical path from the rooms being cleared, then tell GetBins about gates, vehicles and any shared access. Do not move the waste pile into the truck approach. Delivery and collection access must be assessed as well as the space occupied by the bin itself.
Keep everyone loading to the same rules
Let helpers know that asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Check boxes before emptying them into the skip. Standard hire is 3–5 days, with Monday–Saturday scheduling. Your exact St Albans address, access, waste type, requested dates and price must be confirmed before service from the Tarneit yard is arranged.
Placement on public land
