Match a building load to its weight allowance
For light builders waste, both size and weight matter. The 4m³ allowance is 1 tonne, the 6m³ allowance is 1.5 tonnes and the 8m³ allowance is 2 tonnes. Larger light builders bins are available up to 30m³ with their own limits. Confirm the 2m³ allowance with our team. The builders guide lists prices and allowances together.
Heavy materials require a different category
Soil, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt and tiles cannot go into the light builders category. Describe your heavy builders or excavation material so we can confirm suitability. Heavy mixed rubbish is not accepted in bins larger than 8m³. Unknown or contaminated material needs assessment before you make a booking.
Organise site access and repeat swaps
For a building site or repeat job, provide the site contact, gate instructions, working access constraints and preferred bin position. Tell us the expected frequency of bin swaps so we can discuss availability and quote for the requirement. A trade enquiry does not create a credit account or guarantee a recurring delivery slot.
Before you book
GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
Our yard is at 135 Kenning Road, Tarneit VIC 3029. We welcome enquiries across our listed Melbourne areas, including extended delivery locations, with each address and schedule checked by the team.
