List surfaces as well as cupboards
Write down the cabinets, benchtop materials, wall coverings and flooring being removed. Timber-based joinery needs a different assessment from a load containing tiles, bricks or concrete. Light builders bins exclude all of those heavy materials, along with soil, rocks and asphalt. Describe the benchtop rather than guessing its waste category from appearance or size alone.
Choose delivery around actual removal work
Request dates once you know when the old kitchen will come out and who will load the bin. Standard hire is 3–5 days, with delivery and collection Monday–Saturday. If the tiler and cabinet installer are working on different days, explain that sequence so the office can discuss a suitable arrangement without assuming an extension or swap is included.
Leave room for the next delivery
Think about where replacement cabinets and appliances will arrive while the skip is on site. The proposed bin position should be reviewed alongside garage access, gates and the route tradespeople use. Send photographs or a clear description of any tight approach. Confirm the placement and delivery plan before treating your requested date as booked.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.
Before you book
GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
