Confirm the route from the room to the bin
If the property has shared entrances or a lift, ask the building contact about loading arrangements before choosing dates. Include any restrictions on hours, access doors and common areas in your enquiry. Describe the vehicle approach separately from the route used to carry rubbish; permission to use a lift does not establish suitable skip placement.
Break the refurbishment into material types
List discarded furniture, joinery, flooring and any demolition rubble. A light builders load cannot contain soil, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt or tiles, even when these form only part of a larger refurbishment. Tell the office which materials are expected and ask for the appropriate category before the contractor begins combining them into one pile.
Agree on who is ready when
Nominate one person who can confirm access on delivery day and answer questions about the load. Standard hire is 3–5 days, with delivery and collection Monday–Saturday. Match those dates to the contractor's actual removal work and the building's permitted arrangements. If the proposed position is in a public area, establish the applicable requirements before requesting placement.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
