Check stored items before emptying shelves
A shed may contain ordinary household rubbish alongside products or items that need another disposal route. Liquid paints, batteries, tyres, mattresses and asbestos are prohibited. Set these aside before loading starts. Describe any unknown container or uncertain building material to the office, and avoid placing it in the bin while its suitability is unresolved.
Include the base if it is coming out
If the project extends to dismantling the shed, list the wall and roof materials and whether the slab or footings will be removed. Concrete, bricks, soil, rocks, asphalt and tiles cannot go in light builders bins. Heavy builders and excavation loads use the 2m³–8m³ range, so the structure's size alone will not determine a suitable bin.
Plan the loading route across the property
Consider how material will move from the shed to the proposed bin position without blocking the vehicle approach. Report gates, overhead obstacles and surface conditions for assessment. Request dates once the removal stage is organised, and keep access available for collection. Standard hire is 3–5 days, with delivery and collection operating Monday–Saturday.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
