Use one shared description of the load
Ask each trade what material its part of the job will generate, then combine those details in the enquiry. Joinery, packaging, flooring and demolition rubble can require different assessments. Light builders bins exclude tiles, concrete, bricks, soil, rocks and asphalt. A general building-waste description can miss those materials, so name them explicitly if they are expected.
Choose the stage that needs the bin most
Identify when most removal work will happen rather than requesting delivery at the first sign of activity. Standard hire is 3–5 days, with Monday–Saturday delivery and collection. If demolition and finishing waste will arise weeks apart, discuss separate stages with the office. Do not assume an extended hire or automatic replacement is part of the original request.
Nominate a contact for placement changes
Give the office a site contact who understands the loading plan and can answer access questions. Explain where incoming materials and trades' vehicles will be during delivery and collection. If scaffolding, temporary fencing or stored supplies could alter the approach, raise that before confirmation. The agreed bin position must remain workable throughout the planned hire.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
