Separate useful items from the waste pile
Decide which furnishings or stored items will be retained, moved or donated before estimating the remaining waste. Available household and light waste options are within 2–30 m³, with no 10 m³ stock. Rigid items can occupy space unevenly, so describe the larger pieces as well as the overall pile when requesting a quote.
Check shared-space arrangements early
If a property manager or other occupants control gates or loading space, coordinate the proposed placement with them. Share any access windows, vehicle obstructions and overhead restrictions with GetBins. Do not assume an available-looking space is serviceable: delivery and collection require a workable route for the truck as well as room for the skip.
Finish the booking with clear waste rules
Light waste excludes soil, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt and tiles. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Standard hire is 3–5 days, with Monday–Saturday scheduling subject to confirmation. Service from the Tarneit yard, suitable access, your requested dates and the price must all be confirmed for the East Melbourne job.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
