Skip bin hire Southbank
An apartment clear-out in Southbank needs a workable route from the rooms being emptied to an approved loading position. Sorting the waste is only one part of that plan. Before booking, establish any building access arrangements and provide GetBins with the exact address and proposed placement for assessment.
Compare waste categories and starting prices
| Waste category | Available sizes | Price incl. GST |
|---|---|---|
| Household | 2–30m³ | From $330.00 |
| Light builders | 2–30m³ | From $385.00 |
| Heavy builders & excavation | 2–8m³ | From $385.00 |
Check the entire movement route
If lifts, service entrances or shared loading areas are part of your plan, coordinate their use with whoever manages them. Confirm how the waste will reach the skip without assuming the bin can be placed inside the building. Share gates, overhead restrictions and delivery windows with GetBins so truck access can be checked.
Sort bulky items before estimating capacity
Decide what will be moved, donated or discarded before describing the remaining load. Mattresses are prohibited, along with asbestos, liquid paints, batteries and tyres. Household and light waste options sit within 2–30 m³, excluding 10 m³ stock. If the job includes tiles, bricks, concrete, soil, rocks or asphalt, disclose them separately.
Fit loading help around confirmed dates
Standard hire is 3–5 days, with Monday–Saturday scheduling subject to confirmation. The bin hire period and any building loading window need to work together, especially if helpers are only available once. GetBins operates from 135 Kenning Road, Tarneit; service availability, access, schedule and quoted price must be confirmed for your Southbank job.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.
Before you book
GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
Our yard is at 135 Kenning Road, Tarneit VIC 3029. We welcome enquiries across our listed Melbourne areas, including extended delivery locations, with each address and schedule checked by the team.
