Sort unfinished projects before estimating the pile
Separate work you are keeping from discarded shelving, packaging, furnishings and project offcuts. Note large or awkward pieces that cannot be dismantled safely. Household and light-waste sizes range from 2m³ to 30m³, but unusual craft or workshop materials need an acceptance check. Send a specific list, including coatings or residues where relevant, instead of assuming that everything from a home workspace is ordinary household rubbish.
Keep chemicals and uncertain materials out
Liquid paints and batteries are prohibited, along with asbestos, tyres and mattresses. Set aside containers whose contents are unknown and ask the office before including any specialised waste. If the reset includes building alterations, separate the demolition description: light waste excludes tiles, concrete, bricks, rocks, asphalt and soil. A project that combines storage changes with wall or flooring removal may need a different category from a straightforward clear-out.
Plan loading around daily use of the space
If the workspace remains in use, choose a sorting and carrying route that does not block the equipment or belongings you need. Describe shared access, gates, overhead obstacles and the truck approach for assessment. Standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday operations, so finish the keep-or-discard decisions before delivery. Confirm the schedule with the office before arranging helpers or dismantling essential storage.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
