List the layers being removed
Write down cabinets, benchtops, wall coverings, flooring and any masonry involved in the job. A kitchen project is not automatically light waste: tiles, concrete, bricks, rocks, asphalt and soil are excluded from that category. Heavy mixed waste uses sizes from 2m³ to 8m³. Ask the office to assess uncertain materials instead of choosing solely from the room size or renovation budget.
Keep the loading route separate from the work area
If the kitchen opens onto a side passage or courtyard, explain how workers will carry material to the proposed bin position. Mention steps, gates and any shared entry in your enquiry. The office must also assess truck access to that position. Coordinate the strip-out so large cabinet pieces do not obstruct the route needed for other trades or household access.
Book around the actual demolition stage
Arrange delivery for the stage when waste will be ready, allowing for the standard 3–5-day hire period and Monday–Saturday operations. A delivery request is subject to confirmation, so do not tie essential trade work to an unconfirmed slot. Keep liquid paints, batteries, mattresses, tyres and asbestos out of the load. If demolition exposes suspicious material, stop handling it and seek appropriate advice before continuing.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
