Record the fittings being removed
List shelving, counters, furniture and other items individually, noting awkward sizes and anything that cannot be safely dismantled. Discuss appliances or unfamiliar commercial items with the office before including them. The business type alone does not identify the waste category. Household and light-waste sizes range from 2m³ to 30m³; if tiles, concrete or other dense demolition materials are involved, heavy mixed options are limited to 2m³–8m³.
Keep the loading plan separate from normal service
If trading will continue during the work, identify a proposed placement and carrying route that keep entrances and everyday operations usable. Explain any service access, gates, overhead obstacles and other vehicle movements. Nominate someone who can coordinate the truck’s arrival and identify the correct materials. The office needs to assess the actual approach even if suppliers already use a nearby loading area.
Use confirmed dates for the fit-out sequence
Allow time for removal before replacement stock or fittings arrive in the same space. Standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday operations, and the office confirms scheduling for each enquiry. Light waste excludes soil, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt and tiles. Keep prohibited asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres out, and seek advice about containers, residues or other materials whose disposal category is uncertain.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.
Before you book
GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
