Distinguish the first strip-out from later packaging
A renovation can generate dense flooring waste at the start and bulky cabinetry or packaging later. List each stage rather than adding everything into one vague estimate. Tiles, concrete, bricks, rocks, asphalt and soil cannot go in light waste. Heavy mixed bins range from 2m³ to 8m³, while household and light options span 2m³ to 30m³. Ask the office whether one arrangement fits the materials and timing.
Agree on the route with the building contact
If lifts, common corridors or shared loading areas are involved, coordinate their use with the relevant contact before requesting delivery. Explain how waste will reach the proposed position and how the truck would access it. Keep other residents’ entrances and routine access usable. Permission to carry materials through a building does not establish that the selected placement is suitable for the delivery truck.
Allow for a short hire window
Standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday operations. Check the trade schedule and any building-access windows against the office-confirmed delivery and collection dates. Avoid scheduling the bin too early if waste will not yet be ready. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Unidentified old building material should be assessed before removal rather than added to a mixed load on assumption.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
