Separate belongings from building materials
Boxes, furnishings and remnants of earlier work can be stored together for years. Sort retained belongings from the discard pile, then identify any insulation, sheeting or unfamiliar material for assessment before handling it. Do not assume that everything stored in a home fits a household bin. Asbestos is prohibited, and unidentified construction materials should not be disturbed or loaded until appropriate advice has established what they are.
Allow for the route out of storage
A pile that looks small in a confined storage area may become bulky once moved downstairs or outside. List the largest items and explain whether they can be dismantled safely. Plan the carrying route without blocking entries, stairs or shared access. Send the office details of the proposed bin position, truck approach, gates and overhead obstacles; access close to the work cannot be promised without assessment.
Book after the initial inspection and sorting
Household and light-waste bins range from 2m³ to 30m³. Soil, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt and tiles are excluded from light waste, while heavy mixed sizes range from 2m³ to 8m³. Keep mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres out as well. Standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday operations, so finish the identification work before arranging helpers around an office-confirmed delivery window.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
