Decide what will be reused before dismantling
Identify desks, cabinets and shelving that are being retained, relocated or discarded. Check storage units for business records and belongings before putting them in the waste pile. Describe large pieces and whether they can be dismantled safely; office floor area alone is not a reliable volume estimate. Household and light-waste sizes range from 2m³ to 30m³, with the appropriate category confirmed against the materials.
Ask about equipment rather than assuming acceptance
Keep computers, monitors and other unfamiliar equipment out of the planned load until the office has advised on them. Batteries are prohibited, as are liquid paints, tyres, mattresses and asbestos. If the project includes a fit-out strip-out, list that waste separately: light loads cannot include soil, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt or tiles. Securely handle confidential records through an appropriate process rather than treating them as ordinary office clutter.
Coordinate building access with the move sequence
Explain any lift booking, service entrance, shared loading area or controlled gate, together with the proposed truck approach and placement. Nominate a contact who can distinguish outgoing furniture from new deliveries. Standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday operations. Confirm the dates with the office before booking movers or relying on a collection that must fit a particular building-access window.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
