Explain the entire route to the property
If the proposed position is reached through a laneway, shared entrance or gated area, include those details and photographs in the enquiry. Note overhead obstacles and any vehicle access that must remain available. Avoid assuming a rear placement will suit simply because it is nearest the renovation. The delivery truck approach and the route workers use to carry waste are separate parts of the plan.
Choose a waste category before choosing volume
Describe what is coming out of walls, floors and storage areas. Cabinetry and packaging do not make a load light if it also contains concrete, bricks, tiles, rocks, asphalt or soil. Those materials are excluded from light waste. Heavy mixed bins range from 2m³ to 8m³; household and light-waste options span 2m³ to 30m³. Ask the office to assess uncertain materials before demolition starts.
Reduce time spent storing waste indoors
Arrange the removal stage around a confirmed bin delivery so the work area is not filled with material awaiting disposal. Standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday operations; coordinate trades and collection accordingly. Keep asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres out of the load. If older construction material cannot be identified, stop and arrange appropriate assessment before disturbing or loading it.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
