Agree on the keep pile first

This creates a more reliable estimate than counting rooms. Household and light-waste sizes range from 2m³ to 30m³, but the right option depends on the actual materials and how much space bulky items occupy.
Make loading an organised final step
Choose a holding area that leaves entries and walking routes clear while sorting is underway. Explain the proposed bin position, driveway approach, gates and overhead obstacles to the office for access assessment. Plan how larger pieces will move from the house without relying on the bin being placed immediately beside every room. Ask for actual bin dimensions if the available placement area is constrained.
Check stored items and the timing
Look inside old boxes and furniture before loading. Mattresses, liquid paints, batteries, tyres and asbestos are prohibited, and renovation rubble cannot be assumed to belong with household waste. Tell the office about bricks, tiles, soil or concrete separately. Standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday operations; arrange helpers after the schedule is confirmed and allow time for a final walk-through before collection.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
