Separate belongings from renovation materials
Have the responsible property contact identify the items that can leave. Keep retained fixtures and any belongings awaiting a decision apart from the waste pile. If the job also includes carpet removal, cabinetry or bathroom work, list those materials separately. Tiles, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt and soil are excluded from light waste, so a general description such as property clean-up is not enough to choose the category.
Arrange one person to coordinate the site
When cleaners, painters and other trades are attending at different times, give the office a contact who understands the access plan. Explain keys or gates, the driveway approach, overhead obstacles and the preferred placement. Keep the route usable for everyone who still needs to work inside. A bin position that suits the first contractor may interfere with later deliveries if it is not planned together.
Work backwards from the handover date
Allow sorting and loading time inside the standard 3–5-day hire period, with Monday–Saturday operations and dates subject to confirmation. Check that collection fits any inspection or key handover instead of assuming it can happen at the last moment. Mattresses, liquid paints, batteries, tyres and asbestos are prohibited. Ask the office about unfamiliar materials before the team starts loading, especially when several people are contributing waste.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.
Before you book
GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
