Describe the ground and approach
If your proposed location has a slope, a change of level or an unfinished surface, explain it in the initial enquiry. Include gates, overhead obstacles and the route the truck would need to take. Photographs should show the approach as well as the final position. Do not assume a bin can be placed wherever a car can park; the office must assess the complete delivery arrangement.
Choose the category from the materials
A garage clean-out and an outdoor renovation can produce very different loads even when they happen together. List furniture, packaging and building material separately. Household and light-waste bins span 2m³ to 30m³, while heavy mixed sizes span 2m³ to 8m³. Light waste excludes soil, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt and tiles. Ask for advice before combining material from several parts of the property.
Keep access available until collection
Consider where household vehicles will stay throughout the hire, and whether another contractor needs the same working area. Standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday operations; confirm both delivery and collection against your project schedule. Avoid building a discard pile in the truck approach before delivery. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited, so keep those out of the sorting and loading plan.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
