List each part of the outdoor project
A combined clean-up might involve storage, outdoor furniture, dismantled structures and excavation. Estimate those parts separately instead of treating the entire backyard as one light load. Soil, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt and tiles are excluded from light waste. Heavy mixed bins range from 2m³ to 8m³; household and light-waste options span 2m³ to 30m³. Ask the office which category suits the materials you actually plan to remove.
Check the distance from work to placement
If the waste is at the rear of the property, decide how it can be moved safely to the proposed bin location. Explain gates, surfaces, slopes and overhead obstacles, including the truck approach rather than only the garden entrance. Access for smaller equipment does not confirm access for the delivery truck. Consider where retained garden items and new materials will wait without blocking the route used for loading.
Book around the busiest removal stage
Coordinate helpers and any contractors after the delivery schedule is confirmed. Standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday operations; if different parts of the project occur weeks apart, discuss that timing with the office. Keep asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres out of the load. Inspect old storage containers before loading, and ask about unknown materials uncovered while clearing previously unused areas.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
