Describe panels, posts and foundations separately
Write down the material of the panels and posts, including any coatings or uncertain treatments for assessment. Then explain whether the work includes concrete footings, brickwork, rocks or excavated soil. These dense materials, along with asphalt and tiles, are excluded from light waste. Heavy mixed bins range from 2m³ to 8m³. Avoid choosing a large light bin purely because the dismantled panels appear bulky.
Keep the work area and access plan distinct
If fence removal changes the usable entrance or involves shared access, explain the sequence to the office and coordinate with the relevant property contact. Provide details of the truck approach, gates and overhead obstacles. Do not assume a temporary opening will establish suitable delivery access. Plan where panels will wait before loading without blocking the route workers or household members still need to use.
Load within the confirmed project window
Ask the contractor when panels and footings will actually be ready to remove, then coordinate the standard 3–5-day hire around that stage. Operations run Monday–Saturday and dates need office confirmation. Keep batteries, liquid paints, tyres, mattresses and asbestos out of the bin. If unfamiliar sheeting or suspicious material is discovered during the work, arrange appropriate assessment before handling it rather than treating it as ordinary fencing waste.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
