Separate stock decisions from waste decisions
Confirm which stored items may be discarded before estimating the load. Packaging, shelving and redundant fixtures can occupy space differently, so describe the largest items and their approximate quantities. Do not assume every commercial material is accepted as household or light waste. Send the office a specific list and photographs where useful, especially if the clear-out includes materials left from manufacturing, maintenance or earlier building work.
Give the driver a clear site contact
If the property has controlled entry, a shared yard or timed vehicle movements, identify a contact who can coordinate arrival. Explain the proposed truck approach and bin position, including gates and overhead obstacles. Keep the plan compatible with other deliveries and normal operations. The office must assess the actual access; previous use by courier vans or smaller vehicles does not establish suitability.
Use the correct category and loading window
Household and light-waste sizes range from 2m³ to 30m³, while heavy mixed waste is limited to 2m³–8m³. Soil, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt and tiles are excluded from light loads. Standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday operations, so arrange staff availability around confirmed dates. Keep asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres out, and ask before including any unidentified or unusual commercial waste.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
