Distinguish furniture from a built-in strip-out
A loose wardrobe, a fitted cupboard and a room full of general clutter may produce different loads. Explain whether the work involves household items, removed joinery, flooring or wall materials. Give the team the largest pieces and a practical description of the contents. Household and light builders options range from 2m³ to 30m³, subject to the appropriate waste category.
Arrange mattress disposal separately
Mattresses cannot go in GetBins bins, even when they are the main item being replaced. Set them aside from bed frames and other furniture before loading begins. Batteries, tyres, liquid paints and asbestos are also prohibited. If the renovation includes tiled flooring or masonry, tell the office: those materials are excluded from light builders waste and need assessment.
Keep room for furniture deliveries
Choose a proposed skip position that can be assessed alongside the route for new wardrobes, beds or other large items. Send gate, driveway and overhead restrictions with the enquiry. Aim to have the old contents identified before the standard 3–5 day hire starts. Delivery and collection operate Monday–Saturday, and the office must confirm your requested dates.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
