Build one inventory across the property
List bulky furniture, loose household rubbish and items from each storage area. Avoid estimating the bin from one room and adding the rest later. Household sizes range from 2m³ to 30m³, but the way large pieces fit matters as well as total volume. Ask about actual dimensions if the largest items or placement space create uncertainty.
Check outdoor additions before mixing them in
An outdoor clean-up can introduce soil, rocks, paving or concrete that were not part of the household estimate. Describe those materials before loading them. Light builders bins exclude soil, bricks, concrete, rocks, asphalt and tiles. Mattresses, liquid paints, tyres, batteries and asbestos are prohibited across the clean-up and need to be kept out of the bin.
Spread the sorting across the days before hire
Prepare the approved waste before delivery so the hire period can focus on loading. Standard hire is 3–5 days, with delivery and collection Monday–Saturday. Agree who will help and which vehicles need driveway access while the bin is present. Include gates and overhead restrictions in the request, and keep the collection approach available after the final load.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.
Before you book
GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
