Separate displays and joinery from rubble
Write down shelving, counters, loose furniture, flooring and any walls or tiled surfaces being removed. Light builders waste excludes tiles, bricks, concrete, soil, rocks and asphalt. Tell the office about these materials even if they seem a small part of the project. The correct category depends on the contents of the load, not the business or room type.
Check access while the premises are occupied
If customers, staff or neighbours will still use the property, plan a loading route and proposed bin position that account for their access. Include gates, shared areas, overhead restrictions and any delivery-hour conditions in your enquiry. Ask the property contact about placement approval before assuming a forecourt, laneway or shared parking area can be used.
Stage removal around incoming fixtures
A skip delivered too early can use space needed for new joinery or equipment. Confirm when dismantled material will be ready and request the standard 3–5 day hire around that stage. Delivery and collection operate Monday–Saturday. Tell the office about a firm reopening or handover date so timing can be assessed before the booking is accepted.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.
Before you book
GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
