Count surfaces as well as fixtures
List wall and floor tiles, any concrete being removed, cabinets and other fittings. Tiles and concrete cannot go in a light builders bin, and a large light-waste option is not a substitute for the correct heavy category. Heavy builders and excavation bins range from 2m³ to 8m³. Ask the office to assess uncertain fixtures or mixed materials.
Check what is behind the existing finishes
The removal contractor should identify material before it is added to the load. Asbestos is prohibited, so suspected asbestos needs a separate assessment and disposal arrangement. Do not load it while waiting for clarification. If the scope changes after the room is opened up, tell the office before adding newly discovered waste to the planned bin.
Book for the main removal stage
Request delivery once the strip-out timing is reasonably settled, and consider whether new fixtures need the same driveway space. Standard hire is 3–5 days, with Monday–Saturday delivery and collection. Provide the proposed position, gates, overhead obstacles and any shared access conditions. A clear site description helps the office assess the approach before accepting your dates.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.

GetBins operates Monday–Saturday. Asbestos, mattresses, liquid paints, batteries and tyres are prohibited. Prices and allowances depend on the selected waste category. Our office confirms your exact address, access, available dates and total price before payment; an online request is not yet a confirmed booking.
