List the materials beyond packaging
A clear-out may include shelving, office furniture, damaged stock or fit-out debris as well as loose packaging. Describe those items for assessment rather than assuming they all suit one category. Batteries, tyres, liquid paints, mattresses and asbestos are prohibited. Ask the office about any uncertain stock, equipment or process waste before placing it in the proposed load.
Keep operational access in the placement plan
If the site remains open, consider deliveries, staff vehicles and entrances when proposing where the bin will sit. Provide gate arrangements, overhead clearance restrictions and the vehicle approach for the office to assess. A marked loading area does not by itself confirm suitability. Nominate a contact who can coordinate access without disrupting other planned deliveries.
Request swaps only against a clear schedule
For a one-off job, standard hire is 3–5 days with Monday–Saturday delivery and collection. If you expect several loads, describe the anticipated material and timing for each stage so the team can discuss availability and pricing. A first enquiry does not establish recurring slots. Fit-out rubble such as tiles, bricks or concrete must be declared before choosing light builders waste.
Placement on public land
If private-property placement is not possible, ask our office before selecting a road or nature-strip position. Check the permissions and placement conditions that apply to the exact address with the relevant authority. Submitting a booking request does not issue a permit.
